By the end of this guide you'll know how to colour-code each grade on the calendar from Appearance in School Settings.
Open Appearance
- Sidebar → School
- Open the Appearance tab
You'll see Lesson Event Colors: select a colour for each of your classes; events for each class show that colour on the calendar.
If you have more than one school, filter by Schools (or All Schools) to narrow the list.
Assign colours
Each card is one grade (school + subject + grade name). Click the colour control and choose a colour.
Changes apply to how that grade’s lessons appear in Day, Week, Month and Stream views.
If you see No classes available. Create classes in the Classes tab to assign colors, add grades first: Manage schools, subjects and grades.
Subjects can also have a Subject Color when you create them. Appearance controls the colour of lessons on the calendar per grade — use that when you want 9A and 9B Math to look different even under the same subject.
Personal event colour
On the same Appearance tab, set Personal Event Color for non-lesson events on your calendar (meetings, reminders, and so on).
Default view, visible hours and weekdays are under Profile preferences, not Appearance.
