End-of-term planning fails when you count weeks on a planner and forget that Class 8B only meets twice a week. Assessments, revision, and catch-up lessons need the real meeting count.

Worked example
Term ends on 3 April. Your group meets Monday (60 min) and Friday (60 min). After excluding a one-week spring break still inside the range, you might have 14 lessons left — seven teaching weeks and 14 hours — enough to finish a unit and run one assessment week.
Use “From today” for the remaining term, or a custom start if you are mapping the whole term from day one.
